Project Three - Brainstorm

This Brainstorm is about the company Rockstar Games. Over the years their games have caused much controversy over the violent actions shown in their games and the effect that these games have on the children and young adults who play them.

This made me think. Who is responsible for the media that we consume. Is the responsibility of the creator, which much reach standards that allows video games to be classified under an AO rating otherwise most countries will not sell their games, the distributer of the software, who must ensure it is not sold to people who are two young, or the consumer themselves, who can choose what they watch, play and listen to.

My take on this is that Rockstar games has made their products with the bounds of the law so it is up to the consumer what they buy. It is their responsibility.
